When publishing detention details to parents via the portal web and apps, it would be really useful if we can have finer control as to what details are displayed. We are not sure we would want the descriptions of the detentions shown to parents, as teachers may write something that is not appropriate to show on the portal. Tying in with another idea that has been voted by others- if the detentions could be categorised based on type of incident (as in Rewards and Conduct) and then we can fine tune what information we would want showing on the portal based on the category of detention. For example "Grade A" daily detention - only show detention type and date/time on portal, for "Grade B" detentions, include description on the portal as well...
