It is a reqirement of the October Census that we record the Learning Aims for all our stduents which included a Planned End Date. It is also a requirement that the Acual End Date is entered for every Learning Aim with a reason. When students drop a subject or transfer to another subject this is a simple excercise. However, at the end of Year 13 all students have to have this data recorded for their A Level and BTEC Qualifications. We need a way for this to be done automatically i.e. not individually within Edgen
We agree, this is being looked at now and we hope to have an update soon.
I agree that a more efficient method is required for this, we have over 200 students in Year 13 each taking 3 or 4 A levels which means that well over 600 Learning Aims need updating as Completed. Currently the only method is to update these individually which is hugely time consuming. An automated method or bulk update function is clearly needed.
