The most recent update to Report Printing has changed the process for generating and publishing reports to the parent and student portals. This is fine but as part of this change the function to generate a zip of reports in pdf format has been lost. Please could this be restored?
I know that we can generate reports as pdfs via the Bulk Printing tab, either for individuals or groups, but the old functionality was an extremely useful and convenient way to both preview reports before publishing (to check for content and formatting issues) and take offline backup copies. The fact of having each pupil's report as a separate pdf with only one-click was, for us at least, far better than having to either generate hundreds of reports separately, or generate them all as a single file.
I'm told by the helpdesk team that we can create a run and then untick the option to actually publish it, and that this will generate reports in a format that we can view for error checking before publishing them to portals but this still doesn't seem as neat as the old system was.

And for those schools using alternative portals, e.g. My School Portal, that expect student documents (like report PDFs) to be named with the SchoolID and ZIPped, this is a disaster. I cannot currently conceive just how long it is going to take me to extract the report PDFs, rename them and then Zip them for upload to the portal, instead of just using the 'Reports by SchoolID' folder from the Report Publishing Zip...
