Can we add a scheduled teacher to cover and then cover that lesson instead please.
We had a teacher (AW) absent and due to the sensitivity of the lesson, we needed to add a particular teacher to cover (AGC), although they themselves had a lesson too which I had to cover too (JK).
So AW's lesson got covered by AGC but AGC's lesson didn't flag up for needing cover.
I tried adding both AGC and JK to cover AW but that didn't work.
I tried entering an absence for AGC so I could add JK to cover, but that just pulled AGC out of cover for AW.
This is a long overdue function - currently have to 'bridge' with a dummy staff member which still doesn't give the covering staff all the lesson details and locations. Very poor and you would think a simple fix by making staff available in the scheduled list too so as to temporarily amend their timetabled lessons. Same story with Room swaps. Come on isams!
