When cover is published there are two tabs: one for teachers and one for rooms.
When you publish cover for teachers, certain tick boxes are already activated and default email templates are selected.
However, when you publish cover for rooms, no tick boxes are activated and no email template is selected.
If you tick to email staff and/or pupils to be notified about room changes, but do not select an email template, the cover is published and emails are sent out to recipients, but these emails are blank.
We therefore need to require that an email template is selected before publishing room cover with email options.
There are two ways to ensure this:
* Have a default email template selected by default, as with teacher cover.
* Show a message on screen telling the end user that an email template needs to be selected when publishing room cover via email.
It would be great if something like this could be implemented.
