It would be helpful to be able to set different number of log-in attempts before lock-out for different user types. For security purposes, a low threshold is needed for teachers and administrators. However, more attempts for parents would be helpful. As they use the iSAMS Portal infrequently, many parents struggle to remember their passwords. This creates administrative burden for the school, as parents then contact us asking us to reset their password or unfreeze their accounts. We receive many such emails when school reports are published.
