An idea to address two current issues around Action visibility.
Currently, if you are assigned an action, you are emailed but can only see the action if you are also given visibility of the concern. The wider list of staff with visibility of the concern, such as the DSL or Head of Phase, cannot see the open actions assigned to other people on their Overview tab.
If you are assigned an action we would like that action to be visible to you in Wellbeing Manager, even if you do not have visibility to the overall concern - which may contain more confidential information that should not be visible to the person assigned a less confidential action - example of this below. An additional option, for those that do want to make the overall concern visible at the same time as assigning an action, would be to also add a checkbox i.e. [ ] Add assignee to concern visibility. The action should then appear on your Overview tab and be clickable to allow you to add an outcome in the standard Action Outcome popup. (Which means you don't need to view the concern if you don't have visibility of it.)
The My Actions section on the Overview tab would be changed to be called just Actions, with tabs like the Active and Resolved tabs on the Concerns section. The tabs would be :
My Concerns - Lists (open or all?) actions that you have been assigned
Open - Lists all open actions on all concerns that you have visibility of (even if not assigned to you)
Complete - Lists all actions that have an outcome added, on all concerns that you have visibility of
i.e.
Example of where would want assignee to have visibility of the action but not the more confidential concern
Concern : Police have searched pupil's home
Action : Safeguarding concern. please observe wellbeing and general engagement. Please report any notable changes.
