We currently show our 'Post-LAC' children as 'Off-Register' within the Looked After student register reflecting that those children were at one point 'looked after' (therefore on-register) but are now not 'looked after'. This is the same logic used for other registers within the student register. However, children flagged as 'Off-register' do not currently pull through into Table 5 on the Summer census return even if 'Post looked after arrangements' are specified within the student record. Only children 'On-register' are pulled through. We therefore have to move all our children to 'On-register' to run the census before correcting them back to 'Off-register'.
Please pull through all children, whether On or Off register, into the Post Looked After arrangements student numbers within the census returns if they have that field populated.
