To streamline the report management process and improve usability, I propose the following enhancements:
Automatically Link Student Reports (PDF) to Pupil Profiles
Once reports are published via Portal Publishing, they should automatically be linked to each student’s profile. These reports can be displayed under Pupil Profiles > Assessments & Reports. This feature would allow administration staff and other authorised users to access and download the final PDF reports directly from the student’s profile, eliminating the need for manual uploads.
Benefits of These Enhancements
These changes would:
Significantly reduce the time and effort required by eliminating manual uploads of reports
Provide a centralised, user-friendly interface for internal staff to access and manage student reports
Ensure that the crucial PDF reports sent to parents are also securely stored and readily accessible for school records.
Thank you for considering these suggestions. I believe these improvements would greatly enhance the functionality and overall user experience of iSAMS.
This would be a game changer for us. At the moment we have to publish to the portal, and then create zip files and import them to documents and files for the students, so that staff have access to these reports. Unfortunately the Assessments and Reports tab doesn't fill the same function at the moment, and cannot be exported.
