We're just starting the process of moving from the old Parent Portal to the new Cloud Parent Portal. Having just completed the iUniversity course I noted that some features will be controlled in both the Cloud Portal Manager and the Parent Portal Manager. Over time, I can imagine this will cause a little frustration as people might not realise things are in two places, especially those who are new to iSAMS.
Within Cloud Portal Manager > XX Parent Portal > Manage Pages, please add a column between "Custom Footer" and the traffic lights.
Column name: PPM
If a feature is also controlled within the old manager and is active, display a tick
If a feature is also controlled within the old manager and is disabled, display a cross
If a feature is not controlled within the old manager display a dash
As the other portals go through the same overhaul to the new technology, please include a similar column, albeit with a column heading that makes sense for that portal.
This should help with troubleshooting within schools and simplify things for the iSAMS Support Team.
