iSAMS recently made a change to limit the default search results so that it did not always display "P/S - ALL", which we find the most frustrating change. We appreciate that we can change this as we need it, but it doesn't store that as a preference and refreshes itself the next time you log in. It can therefore be so frustrating if a user is trying to pull whole school pupil data/lists out of the system, and they pull of a list, start formatting it, etc., and then you find out that you forgot to set the search results limit to "P/S - ALL". The amount of times this causes unncessary re-work. We would therefore like this to be something a user can define as their own setting preferences - currently the max you can set this to is "P/S - 100".
This is a nightmare. Pupils keep being missed off things. It is particularly problematic for staff who routinely send bulk emails to parents as this risks important information not going home.
This is the same issue as: https://ideas.isams.com/ideas/MIS-I-2624
This is a problem for us plus if this is now needed why not have every module working the same way? Medical centre defaults to your preference setting regardless if you do a search and change to All, whereas Pupil Manager will stick to 'All' if this is changed during the first search after logging on (it will then revert back to the preference setting if you log off or restart).
