We are currently in the planning phase of either upgrading Tracking Manager or replacing it with a system that will allow users to import and manage external assessment data. This will enable users to store information more efficiently. For instance, in the example provided, you would have targets sorted for each pupil against "Year 12 UCAS Target" and "Year 13 UCAS Target." This provides users a permanent area to manage Target and Attainment Data year-over-year, where Targets are in a reportable area, and you can continue to add pupils year-over-year to this area for annual and progression reporting.
Outside of UCAS, the feedback we have received indicates that targets, while amendable, should be read-only in Gradebook to ensure they are not inadvertently changed without a proper review. This ensures that targets are not updated inadvertently in the Gradebook.
Would this also apply to UCAS Targets, or would the expectation be that these are amendable in the Gradebook?
